Homemade Southern Banana Pudding

For all the pudding lovers, this is for you! A superbe and easy to make homemade southern banana pudding! Don’t miss this one! You’ll Need: ½ cup of sugar. ⅓ cup of all purpose flour. 3 egg yolks. 2 cups of milk. 1 box of Nilla Wafers. 5 bananas. ½ tsp of vanilla. A dash of salt. How to: In a medium mixing bowl, arrange a layer of Nilla Wafers and top with sliced bananas, repeat two layers of each. Mix all the other ingredients in a saucepan except for the vanilla, and cook over medium low heat stirring constantly until thick. It takes about 15 minutes to cook. Turn off the heat, stir in the vanilla and pour over the wafers and bananas. Let set for 5 minutes before serving and Voila! Simple, easy and sweet! I use some meringue to top this beauty. It’s super easy to make and so delicious. I’m sure you will love it.

Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp Scampi If you want a nice and delicious recipe for shrimp scampi, you got it! This recipe is just amazing! Check it out. You’ll Need: 1 lb of peeled and deveined medium shrimp. 1 tbsp of pure olive oil. 2 tbsps of finely chopped garlic. 1 ½ cups of white wine. ½ fresh lemon juice. 1 tsp of Italian seasoning. ¾ cup of softened butter. 1 tbsp of parsley. ½ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese. How to: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and cook the shrimp until tender then turn off the heat. Mix in the chopped garlic and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice and cook until it reduces to half then mix in the italian seasoning. Over low heat, add the butter, parsley and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese and voila! Simple, easy and cheesy! I serve this over rice or pasta, feel free to serve it as you like. Give it a shot , you’ll like it.

VEGETARIAN WELLINGTON

Who says only meat lovers can eat a Wellington dish? Try our vegetarian Wellington, made of roasted butternut squash, leek, pine nuts, and a bit of garlic. It's so satisfying that we're sure you won’t think about beef for a while!  Ingredients 10 ounces of butternut squash  2 tablespoons of vegetable oil  1 red onion , diced 2 tablespoons of tomato paste  3 garlic cloves , crushed 1 teaspoon ginger , grated 1 leek , white part only, chopped 2 tablespoons of pine nut  Fresh thyme  ¼ cup white wine  7 ounces of broccoli florets 3 tablespoons of cream cheese  1 puff pastry shet, thawed 1 egg yolk , whisked Steps 1-squash cubes on it and spread them on an even layer. Drizzle some vegetable oil over them. Move the tray to the oven and roast the butternut squash for 30 minutes. 2-Heat the remaining vegetable oil in a wok, then add the red onion. Taco Pizza

Ingredients 1 lb ground beef 1 pkg taco seasoning mix 2 can(s) (8-oz) pillsbury crescent rolls 1 can(s) (16-oz) refried beans 2-3 c cheddar cheese, shredded (or mexican blend) 1/2 c tomatoes, diced 1/4 c black olives, sliced 4 c green onions, chopped add whatever other toppings you want Directions 1. 1.Heat oven to 375 degrees. 2.Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning to the ground beef according to the package directions. 3.Unroll crescent rolls into rectangles. Place in ungreased 11 1/2 inch x 16 1/2 inch jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Press dough over the bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Bake at 375 oven for 11 to 13 minutes or just until golden brown. 4.Microwave beans in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. Carefully spread beans over warm crust creating a thin layer. 5.Top with cooked beef mixture, sprinkle with cheese followed by tomatoes, black olives and green onion. Momma's Creamy Baked Macaroni and Cheese

16 ounces elbow macaroni (about 3 cups) 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 ½ cups milk, divided 2 large eggs, lightly beaten 1 lb (16-ounces) cubed (1/2 inch size) Velveeta cheese 8 ounce shredded Kraft Mild Cheddar Cheese (about 2 cups), divided 8 ounce shredded Kraft Monterrey Jack Cheese 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper How to make it : Heat oven to 375 degrees F. 01- Cook macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until tender but not mushy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well and pour into a large mixing bowl. 02- Melt on low the Velvetta Cheese and ¾ cup milk until melted (stir often) 03-Pour Melted Cheese Sauce over Pasta and Stir. Add in butter, ¾ cups milk, eggs, 1 cup shredded cheeses, salt and pepper. Mix well and transfer to a 2 quart baking dish. Pour the remaining cheese on top. 04-Bake until top crust is golden brown and casserole is bubbling, about 25 minutes. Serve hot .

Ingredients 1 quart Whole Milk 1 cup Vegetable Oil 1 cup Sugar 2 packages Active Dry Yeast 8 cups (Plus 1 Cup Extra, Separated) All-purpose Flour 1 teaspoon (heaping) Baking Powder 1 teaspoon (scant) Baking Soda 1 Tablespoon (heaping) Salt 3 cups (to 4 Cups) Melted Butter 2 cups Sugar Generous Sprinkling Of Cinnamon_ MAPLE FROSTING: 1 bag Powdered Sugar 2 teaspoons Maple Flavoring ½ cups Milk ¼ cups Melted Butter ¼ cups Brewed Coffee ⅛ teaspoons Salt How to Make It 01-Directions: Mix the milk, vegetable oil and sugar in a pan. “Scald” the mixture (heat until just before the boiling point). Turn off heat and leave to cool 45 minutes to 1 hour. When the mixture is lukewarm to warm, but NOT hot, sprinkle in both packages of Active Dry Yeast. Let this sit for a minute. It’s rare when I cook using coleslaw, but as a mother, I try to give my best to my family. So this amazing egg rolls came up and I wanted to share! You’ll Need: 1 bag of coleslaw mix. 1 lb of sausage. 2 minced cloves of garlic. Salt. ¼ cup of diced onion. How to: In a large skillet, brown the sausage then mix in all the ingredients until well mixed. Cook covered on medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir to mix, taste for salt and enjoy!
